The lady Vampire

This story is about a girl who found herself in the woods, found a dead bat which gave her powers and it is on how and why she used it to save the country. Her name is Laura Christopher!
Chapter 1 – Once upon a time!
Once upon a time there was a fairytale in which they said that there were buried abilities that could control the whole world in a place where no one could find. This was told when a tiny little city girl who was to save the world was born. She never knew what her father was like the day she was born. Her father went in search of the buried abilities; he thought that this was true. He never came back, her mother wept and wept until she became quite mad. She told Laura to clean the house, wash the dishes, make food and do other chores which adults are supposed to do. Laura did all that when she was just 7 years old. She really disliked her mother very much.
Chapter 2 – Run away
After 10 years she had to go to the funeral of her great grandfathers. Her mother of course did not want to go and scolded Laura very badly as she insisted for her to go as it is was her mother’s grandfather’s funeral. She hit Laura so badly that there were chances of her dying in her own house with lots of bruises on her face and body. She thought and said that she will run off to the forest in search of her father, she half thought that he might be dead and half thought that he might be alive. She became determined more and more as she thought about it. She soon realized that miracles can happen anytime and anywhere to anybody. She wanted that miracle to happen to her.
Chapter 3 – A surprising event
She took her bike and started peddling and soon she was far away from her mother’s house. She was so proud and happy that she gained courage and ran from her own house in search of her long-lost father. She cycled and cycled until she reached deep into the forest. There she got tired and decided to sleep on a wood block. She soon fell asleep, suddenly a loud bang awoke her. She saw a man who might’ve been in his mid-50s.s shooting the bats who were circling around her. She found out that he lived in a cottage near a stream. The man saw her scared face and consoled her saying that she was safe staying with him than roaming around the forest without any protection. Laura had no choice because she had lost her way in the woods. She observed that the man looked kind of sad whenever he saw her. So, she decided to ask him what happened and why he looked sad. And do you know what he said, he said that he lost his way in the woods trying to find something that nobody ever found and he left his wife and child who was just born in his house in the city. They became very close after sharing everything to each other. One day Laura found the man sitting near the stream writing something on a piece of paper, and when she came near him, he suddenly covered it with his hand. She knew that the letter was to someone very important like his wife or child.
Chapter 4 – The unusual journey
After 2 years of staying with the man, Laura realized that this man might also be her father because she knew her father was searching for a gem which held magical abilities, and when she went to the man’s room, she saw the exact drawing of the gem on his whiteboard. So, the next day she thought that maybe she would tell him that perhaps she was his daughter. He got so angry when she told this to him that he accidently screamed at her and threw his pen on her face. There was a big cut on her face because of the pen. The man then calmed down and rushed upstairs to collect the first – aid kit to aid the wounds on her face. She was not angry or sad at the man because she knew he would do something like this to her as this information was really hard to process. Days went by like the speed of light. One day she saw that the man had gone, possibly to the stream, to collect water used for drinking. She then got an idea that she can go to his office and investigate whether she was his daughter or not. And if she could not find any of that she could go and find any information about who the wife and his daughter was and where they are right now. “There would be something, right, I mean who knows, maybe just maybe his dear ones might actually be near and I could go and find them, just to make the man happy.” Thought Laura. The next day the man came to her and said that they were going somewhere where the gem might actually be. She obeyed and went to her designated room to get all the supplies they might need in this very weird journey through the woods. The man was carrying a big bag pack, which Laura thought was very suspicious. Suddenly a piece of paper fell from the bag and almost would have fallen into the stream, if Laura hadn’t caught it just in time. She was about to call the man and tell him that the paper flew from his bag, when she saw a title named as ‘Finding my Family’. This heading had caught her attention, so she stuffed the paper into her pocket to read it later, before the man turned around. They moved along the streams edge to reach the city. She asked why they were in the city (she did know, she was just acting), the man replied that there was someone who he wanted to meet. She finally saw the man. The man was not a man but a boy around 16 or 18 years of age. When the boy looked up, he kind of looked surprised to see the man who was with me, and even more surprised to see me.
Chapter 5- The Reality
Soon after, they decided to meet up at 4:30 and it was already 4:00 clock so, they decided to meet at some café few blocks down from where they were. Once they got there the boy introduced himself to Laura, and guess what the boys’ name was Bob Christopher! She was shocked, she looked at the man and finally after 20 seconds of everybody staring at each other, Laura asked the man what his name was. The man’s name was Shelvin Christopher! Just then each one of them realized that, they were a family! Then suddenly everybody was laughing and making jokes. Everybody forgot about the magic gem in the first place, led each other into this place. They were so happy that they went back, where Laura’s mom was and Laura herself were living that day. They, for the rest of their life lived happily ever after!
